Kiyotsukyo Gorge is one of the largest gorges in Japan.
The combination of the sheer rock face, formed by the solidification of magma, and the clear stream flowing beneath reminds us of the power and dynamism of nature.
The Kiyotsukyo Gorge Tunnel is a popular viewpoint for photographers. At the end of the tunnel, which is reminiscent of a cave, there is a space where one can sharpen one’s artistic senses. It includes a viewing platform where one can experience the entire surface of the gorge’s rocks and a passage where the gorge is reflected in a water mirror.
