Takabocchi Kogen Highlands [Nagano]

The Takabocchi Kogen Highlands is a plateau in Nagano, Japan, with  outstanding views.

From the top of the mountain, you get panoramic views of Mt. Fuji and the Southern Japanese Alps across Lake Suwa, and it is known as one of the most beautiful places in Japan to capture night views.

With a little luck, the landscape below will be covered in a sea of clouds, creating a fantastic scene. The sea of clouds can often be seen in the early morning around autumn.

There is also a walking trail at a nearby farm, where you can take a stroll while watching cows and looking at alpine plants.
