Senjoujiki Cirque is a famous scenic spot in southern Nagano, Japan.
A cirque is a bowl-shaped landform that was formed when ice carved the ground during the Ice Age. In winter, it is a harsh world covered with snow. There are many other cirques in the Japanese Central Alps, including the famous Nougaike.
The unique terrain is the main attraction of this spectacular view, but the rich alpine flora is also noteworthy. In the summer, many pretty flowers bloom, with the lily-of-the-valley being the most popular.
