Tsutanuma is a beautiful pond at the foot of Mt. Hakkoda in Aomori, Japan.
During autumn , the foliage of the surrounding trees turns bright red in the sunlight. Especially during the morning glow, you are sure to see a spectacular view of the trees changing from pale red to yellow and orange. However, this view is rare and precious, as you only get the chance to see it a few times a year.
Tsutanuma Pond is surrounded by a forest of beech trees and is in an unspoiled natural environment. It is also a treasure house of wildlife, with wild birds inhabiting the area and fireflies flying around in the summer.
